To understand this story you will have to read my previous page on Mr. Brown. During the last week of August, 2001 we came into the computer lab to find Mr. Brown's computer seemingly out of commision. It only displayed the text "Sync Out Of Range" in the middle of the monitor no matter what buttons we pushed.
Soon we attracted the attention of the teacher, Mrs. Teacher Lady.
She came over and gave Mr. Brown an evil look, seeming to say "What Have You Done!". She immediatly enlisted the help of Andre the Giant and Michelle the computer wizard. I assumed that she was going to order them to beat the pulp out of us, but, thank god, she just asked them what to do.
They came up with one of the most brilliant plans I have ever heard of. They had observed that although the monitor was not functioning, the rest of the computer was. Through this conclusion they decided that their best course of action would be to requisition an unused computer. With this they would learn the sequence of key strokes needed to fix the refresh rate of the monitor.
The execution of this plan was flawless. They meticulesly followed the plan, restarting the computer whenever a wrong keystroke was entered.
Eventually they began to realize the futility of their actions, well some of them anyways. Mrs. Teacher Lady, Mr. Brown, Andre, and Michelle gave up and went their seperate ways, while *blank*(sorry we can't give his name, suffice it to say he was somewhat larger than me) kept at it for quite a while.
